My PhD dissertation and the monograph based on the same both focus on how other-repair takes place in spontaneous speech and how partners explain those situations when they repair the speech of one another (how they explain when their speech is repaired and why they repair the speech of others). Moreover, my academic interests include other topics in connection with metalanguage as well as first-language education. I am also interested in the study of discourse markers and their use. I have been doing research into the dynamics of metalinguistic socialization recently.
