The aims of the Hungarian Research Centre for Pragmatics

to create a database which contains the name of those Hungarian researchers who are interested in the field of pragmatics as well as the research topics, the list of publications and the contact information of various research groups,
to create a database which contains the list of books and journals published in the field of pragmatics being available for readers in Hungary as well as the catalogue data (e.g. the location) of these books and periodicals
to create a mailing list which enables members to share pragmatics-related news,
to provide opportunities for researchers dealing with pragmatics to initiate cooperation in research,
to organize conferences and meetings at various Hungarian universities and research institutes on a regular basis
