My current area of interest is intentionality in language use, esp. the intentionality- related basic problems of philosophical pragmatics and of clinical applications. Besides that I am deeply interested in methodological problems of grasping intentional actions in language use. The following subtopics are in the focus of my research: (a) the role of speaker intentions in meaning generation, (b) the relationship between speaker intentions and context, (c) how speaker intentions could be situated at the level of conversation, (d) how to test philosophical approaches to intentionality in everyday clinical practice.
